Mokha Coffee House – Cozy Edmonton Café with Exceptional Coffee, Tea & Desserts

(Writing it on top so you can see it first, but please please set a 2 hour limit, we spent about an hour there and we saw a table of 4 with 2 people only having a coffee for the whole time or longer while they were on their computers while there was a huge line) Mokha Coffee House is one of those rare places that instantly feels special the moment you walk in. The aroma of fresh coffee hits you right away, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or get a bit of work done. The staff are always welcoming, kind, and genuinely seem to love what they do which makes the whole experience even better. Every drink I’ve tried here has been spot-on. The coffee is rich and smooth, and you can tell they use quality beans and put care into every cup. Their pastries and food options are just as impressive fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I especially love how clean and inviting the space always is, and the attention to detail in both the service and presentation is top-tier. What really stands out about Mokha is the vibe. It’s not just a coffee shop tt’s a community. You see regulars chatting with baristas, people studying quietly in the corner, and friends laughing over lattes. It’s got that perfect blend of energy and calm. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Mokha Coffee House sets the bar high for what a café should be amazing coffee, great food, friendly people, and a place you actually look forward to visiting again.

Visited on a Friday evening — it was a bit crowded but totally worth it. Elegant & Cozy atmostphere. Tried their Yemeni tea, which came in a cute teapot set and had a lovely spiced flavor that felt comforting. The Malwa pudding was amazing — rich, caramelized, and just melted in the mouth. Also tried the Pistachio milk cake — the pistachio spread tasted rich, authentic and delicious, perfectly complementing the soft, milk-soaked cake. Would definitely love to go again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy spot with great desserts and tea! Next time would love to try their coffee options and croissants as well.

Went to Mokha Coffee House on Monday around 4 PM, and it was quite busy. We decided to try their Adani Chai and requested it without sugar. The staff assured us it wasn’t sweet at all, so we went ahead with it. We ordered the small pot, which came with two small glasses—but the quantity was generous enough to refill the glasses about 4–5 times. It was honestly a bit too much for us since we don’t drink a lot of tea, but it’s definitely a great option for anyone who truly enjoys sipping tea for longer. We also tried the baklava with ice cream, and it was absolutely amazing. The place has a lovely ambience with a two-storey setup, making it a perfect spot if you enjoy café hopping. Definitely a must-try café!

We’ve been regulars at the other location since it first opened and were thrilled to see this new branch open — especially since it’s much more convenient for us to visit. All of their desserts are consistently delicious, with the Baklava being a standout. Whether enjoyed on its own or with ice cream, it’s always fresh, perfectly layered, and full of flavor. The Adani tea is another favorite of ours, though at this location the flavor has been a bit inconsistent so far — hopefully just part of the fine-tuning process as the team settles in. The décor is beautiful, and the overall ambiance is elegant yet inviting. Staff are very friendly, and service is impressively quick considering how busy the place can get. We’re excited to have this new location nearby and look forward to returning often.

We’re so glad that Mokha decided to come to the south! We were waiting for this for years. We had this really delicious and stuffed bagel with yummy matcha and their interior design is really pretty! I especially love the cozy architecture upstairs. We felt like there was a lot of seating options so it was welcoming and the desert section looked dangerously good, excellent presentation and good prices! Well done and thank you for serving our community!

Sunday afternoons are always busy here, and today I finally had the chance to come with my friends — it was amazing! While we waited, they treated us to their signature tea, which was such a nice touch. I absolutely love their baklava and their espresso — truly the best! Thank you so much for the wonderful service! People need to understand that when a place is this busy, a little waiting is normal — and absolutely worth it!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here since it opened. Starting my mornings here has become one of the best parts of my day. The staff are always incredibly kind, and it genuinely feels like home every time I visit. It gets busy later in the day and on weekends, but they still keep the service sharp and the energy positive. Whether is black coffee, the adani tea (my favorite), baklava or a matcha latte, everything here is delicious.
